Nice picture! You should be very close to him? Because I see that you have a 300 mm for the shoot or I'm wrong? Thank you for sharing it.

I thought I had commented, but no. So I say : a superb portrait, one does not encounter every day a nice snow. Bravo to the fence, a great lesson of setting, thank you.

> Filou >Reply Nov 07, 2006
I find this look very disturbing, sly this is why I prefer the owl full as the previous one.

I love his little eagle eye : there was fire in his eyes, kudos for the masking of the fence,it is a very beautiful work.
> Doyenjoseph >Reply May 08, 2006
One word : superb, not a photographer, just a lover of simple things, like these pictures.
> Cath [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply May 07, 2006
I have to admit that, even counting with the depth-of-field, I've never been able to 'clear' and a fence. I speak of the film... With digital, I just can't even... And then it takes so much time for settings !!! Very nice, in any case, your photo...
> Alain 56 [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Apr 21, 2006
For the fence invisible, it is only a question of depth of field. With a tele (min 300mm), there is a precise distance between the tv and the wire mesh and the fence and the owl where it disappears completely. Excellent exercise to understand the depth-of-field. Thank you all for your passage.
> Lumixane [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Apr 21, 2006
Pity that the photo was not taken at 5000 m ! Not need to say it... But the photo is no less beautiful. I like it a lot.
> Dorothy [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Apr 20, 2006

> Kim [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Apr 20, 2006
It is not true, there is not a fence in front of this beautiful bird. Where is he ? It is superb your picture, Alain.
> Papatte [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Apr 20, 2006

> Guylaine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Apr 20, 2006
It is super beautiful your snowy owl. The photo is very clear. Beautiful bird.
> Mamadouée >Reply Apr 20, 2006
Alain, you would have kept on winning the 5 000 metres, I would be all gobé ! I am descended from the top. And you me ad bonus that this beautiful bird is behind a fence ! You already had my view of the status of a Great Adventurer, you fell from your pedestal ! Excellent photo.
