It is a bird that you don't see every day, so kudos for this meeting and for this rare shot where the subject stands out perfectly on its natural background and dark. (TB+).

Bravo because for the meet it is a different story. There were a few copies at the belgian coast last month. A lot of birders went there.
The chance it is also the cause

I'm really struggling to believe !
Will she survive in our climate ?
Knows it where she came from and why ?
It's really very interesting, we count on you for the rest...
This is awesome Gontrand, what luck !!!
I hope that this is not a joke after a zoo, the charm would be broken...

Hello Julie, no, no, this is not a joke a few months ago, there is also that has been spotted in Belgium here, it seems that it would be coming on a door, container, and for this one, we don't know !!! For survival I do not think there is a problem, it is not really hot at all of us was to share a little week in the summer, now it is the people !!! It attracts a lot of people, and with the pesticides, there are fewer prey !!! Thank you for your passage.

You really do have a bowl of amazing, Gontrand . While some are able to do thousands of kms to see it in the far north, you you find at Beuvry . Mid-January, a snowy owl made headlines by settling on the island of Ré. Perhaps it is he who made a tour of France . That said, I would have loved to be in your place and get some shots. Nice picture (TB). A little dark, no ???

Hello isabelle, yes a real chance there's another one that has been spotted in Belgium 1 month ago, yes it is a bit dark, I would have been able to choose a lighter , especially as I've done almost 500, but there was waste, it was only a hundred meters away and only a few rays of sun only.

Not far from my house, I hear the cry of a bird of night. I don't know what it is. And to find it, impossible, because my village is surrounded by forests.
It is superb Gontrand !

In my garden or in the wood at the end of the garden, I have one also which makes its vocalizations at night, usually these are owls, wood owls, for my case, this is one of them but for the find !!!
