Author 'Ninik' (Id 242694 ) : The snowy owl male (Bubo scandiacus) is very white compared to the female and to the young people who are slightly brown-spotted. I've read that their eyes are of a yellow color, and arranged toward the front. They are more fixed, forcing the owl to need often turning its broad head, flattened to be able to look around (it can rotate to an angle of 270°).
