Just to clarify: The aniconism is the lack of material representations of the natural and supernatural world in different cultures, especially certain monotheistic religions. This lack of figurative representations may relate to deities, saints characters, humans or parts of their bodies, all living beings, and to everything that has existence. The phenomenon is generally codified by the religious traditions and is as such a prohibition, censorship specializing in religious representations. The aniconism may be a source of iconophobic atmosphere. When it is actively enforced and resulted in the removal of representations, the aniconism is iconoclasm. The word itself comes from the Greek eikon, meaning representation, likeness or image.

This is a rational definition of the stupa I could tell you more: 20: st? Pa (Sanskrit:??) Is a Buddhist and Jain architectural structure found in the Indian subcontinent, where it originates, but also in the rest of Asia where he followed the expansion of Buddhism . It is both a representation of the Buddha and aniconic a monument commemorating his death or parinirv? Na.
