Hello Royer. I did a series of photos of this plant and put it on a site specializing in citrus, since this one is sick, I do not think that the photo would be not too bad to be successful.

I think that it is a thorny bush called Poncirus trifoliata, also known under the name of lemon tree thorn. Its thorns are impressive. This shrub does not need water, it grows very fast and its branches are interwoven into each other to form a fence impenetrable and prickly. Nice catch of these quills

Bravo to The Fada Marseille.
In fact the issue is too easy it is a poncirus which also serves as one of the best rootstock for citrus. This shrub is resistant to negative temperatures of around -20°. And yes I get myself in the culture and the grafting in of the citrus.
