St christophe 38 cave chapel our lady of caves

Author 'Charly' (Id 97910 ) : From the Chapel of Our Lady of the Caves, built by the Carthusians in 1503 and destroyed in 1940 by the Germans, it remains that Gothic porch, restored in 1949 by residents of St. Kitts the cave. It is located below the Sardinian Way which separated the Savoy and the Dauphiné around which are two caves that gave the village its name. We can imagine a spiral staircase above the chapel, which constitutes the output of the second cave in the Sardinian Way which passes through the fault of the mountain.

As the search for a porch to illustrate the "game photos related" I stopped on it that I found well developed. Thank you Charly.

1: Hi Charly and the porch is very nice and I like your picture is in this mountain setting where you actually see the stairs. Thank you. : 18:: 19:

The lightweight hdr is well worth the pretty cliche. It is this beautiful chapel. : 3:: 6:

+: A good framing, excellent sharpness, light treatment which suits him very well. The houses around does not particularly bother me.

-:I like a little under what looks like a blue tint, which I tried to compensate by retouching.

The hdr treatment gives great relief to your photo. The little road that runs behind the building to guide us towards Sardinia.

These old stones are enhanced by a light treatment hdr, always well controlled. Thank you for this beautiful image. 1:

Jolie photo hdr well suited to old buildings and cliffs, to me is perfect. Thank you Charly.

+: I read the intro with great interest and I look at the picture carefully.

-:Not too seduced by the result. The bottom has a blue tint quite pronounced, the housing could be removed at the risk of truncating reality ... And I wonder if I should not try to take a little more recoil, easy to say ... : 18:

: 7: Not too would remove the homes not to change the environment of the chapel. As for hindsight, I would have liked, but already leaning against the wall of the house opposite. I have tried to 'stamp',: 13 but it does not work with stone buildings! : 19:

Lack of light, not centered, noise in the picture. Good luck to you.

This porch is beautiful, and you perfectly describe its history, it must be nice to walk. 1:

The treatment is discreet and magnifies the building and the cliffs, there was just the trees that betray the fact. Thank you for this reminder of the history through this beautifully restored chapel ...
