Stained glass Stained-glass window

Author 'Merlin42' (Id 125710 ) : The windows of Notre Dame were all made in the glassworks of St. Just (Loire 42) only since 1820 to obtain certain colors like royal blue. The glasses were blown by a cane glass masters in order to obtain the same defects (blisters) that the origins of glass as original stained glass windows were destroyed during the religious wars of the Revolution and fortunately all the drawings of the windows had been kept in the archives of the convent who ran the church that allowed them to remanufacture.
