Author 'D.marsim' (Id 191144 ) : I have found no explanation for the stained-glass windows. A small chapel was already mentioned in the 12th century. The chapel is the successor, in the 13th century a first church, which is dedicated to Saint James : the pilgrims en route for Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle the visit during their visit to Brussels. In 1625, one discovers a statue of the Virgin Mary, who quickly becomes the object of veneration. He is credited with a miracle-working power, hence the name ' Notre-Dame de Bon Secours.
