Statice Stringers Limonium Vulgare Or Saladelle Zw

Author 'Ninik' (Id 68520 ) : Statice stringers (limonium vulgare) melliferous plant, also called Saladelle.
Photo taken in the natural reserve of the Zwin, near Knokke, at the belgian coast (North Sea).
This plant, which blooms from mid-July to September, has an interesting feature to eliminate the excess of salt from its tissue, it excretes by specialized cells located at the back of its leaves. The small crystals thus formed are clearly visible when it is dry and taste actually the salt.

+: Beautiful photo.

-:If the petals were more pronounced, the flower would be more easily identifiable.

I have had many years of sea lavender in my garden and I particularly appreciated because they give a blue light to all beds. The picture does not give the true picture of this light.

Does this flower can be marketed to bouquets because it looks like a dried flower that I found in packages in France.

It is not only a nice diagonal flowers of 'sea Lavender', also called 'Saladelle' or 'Statice ' stringers' (limonium vulgare) but it is also the pleasure of discovering a plant that I didn't know : bravo and thank you Ninik.
