Author 'Daniel78' (Id 184833 ) : In the gardens of the palace of Versailles, a work of Pierre Granier (1635-1715) in marble, representing Ino and Mélicerte. Ino, the daughter of the founder of Thebes, rushed into the sea with his son. Both rescued by the Nereids, she was transformed into a deity, a beneficent from the sea (the sea spray).
