Surprise A Hoopoe Fasciee

Author 'GAUDE J-M' (Id 234857 ) : It is in the seeking of any other animal that I made this meeting. We have been surprised by any of the two, she has just had time to escape and me the time to take this shot. Photo taken in the locals, in the hamlet of Éméyères.

What a joy to do such a meeting ! Me too the first time I appreciated, but they are fast. Thank You Jean-Mi.

I photographed myself of the hoopoe but it must be done very quickly because they are filling up fast. Then of course the framing is affected by it, but we are still proud to have captured.

This is a bird I've never seen elsewhere in books. I didn't even know that he could live in the Alps. It is a beautiful 'plug' photo that I appreciate very much. The birds in my areas are pretty rare and very cautious even though hunting is restricted or prohibited.

A beautiful encounter that ends well for everyone : in the box. As suggested by Mady, I would have cut a little of the bottom to make a photo 1920x1080.

Totally agree with you, but I have an explanation : to switch To 1920x1080 required me to enlarge a little the subject, as I have a large number of animal pictures refused to always the 'lack of sharpness' I'm trying now not to enlarge by cropping my shots taken with the zoom at maximum. I had seen that the topic was very poorly positioned in the frame, it was original in the shooting, which was in 16: 9, to avoid to enlarge the cropping so I went in 1024x768. I thought that it would be refused, I have not deleted, because it was my first catch of this bird. But I'm going to send a touch-up, thank you very much for your comments and appreciations.

I had a good reason for it because I posted out of curiosity this same shot cropped 1920x1080 and it was refused certainly to just title 'for lack of net'.

That is the explanation. It surprised me also a little bit of your part. So I learned that it happens also to see you refuse photos to lack sharpness.

A nice surprise meeting that you had the good reflex catch I would see a little less of the part of grass at the bottom
