Tears sucrees Waxplant

Author 'Labrume' A voir (Id 148948 ) : The Hoya (carnosa) or porcelain flower is a vine that can reach 5 to 6 m. The flowers are thick and hard to touch. Each secretes a nectar very fragrant. These wonderful little porcelain stars seem to weep tears sweet. (Photo taken on the veranda of my father).

And me who thought that my hoya was in pain seeing the tears of these flowers, I didn't know that it was the nectar that flowed as well.

Thank you Anne, I share your opinion, when I saw these flowers for the first time, I immediately was under the spell, they are so special.
I own one, but far less cumbersome with flowers identical, but smaller and foliage which is much finer. It is a hoya bella. My photo is a hoya carnosa.
Thanks for stopping by to visit me...

For a moment I thought that this photo had been taken after a watering, but no, she weeps, she's a beautiful plant, it would be interesting to see a snapshot of the total plant, but it may be that the scenery around is not very interesting, but I want to see it very well, Thank you for this beautiful sharing

Hello Mimimaur, what you see, flow like tears, it is the nectar, its consistency looks a bit like honey.
I don't have a picture of the plant as a whole. I would not have enough hindsight to be able to print a whole...
Thank you for your passage and your comment.

Ah, beautiful! I have rarely seen such beautiful least, as close a picture ... not only the flowers are beautiful but the picture is really worth the ... that I am passionate about plants, unfortunately, I've never had it is too bulky for me and requires a lot of maintenance! Thank you for this beautiful picture!

It is true that this flower is cumbersome. But it requires absolutely no maintenance ... Just a room cooler in winter if it is to flourish once more. Otherwise I also have a "Hoya Bella" is exactly the same flower smaller. This plant is much less cumbersome. Mine is suspended ... Thank you for your passage Cath: 6:

> Author Labrume [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jul 07, 2011
Doume thank you for your visit. In France it is a houseplant, very easy going but cumbersome, as I said in my comment, it can reach 5 to 6 m long ... A conservatory for the winter is recommended, because it must meet this season at about 15 ° in order to bloom again though ... : 4:

> Doume0513 [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jul 07, 2011
Beautiful flower, I love it! Where does it grow? North, south, center, dry, wet?

> Author Labrume [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jul 01, 2011
This plant is my father, luckily! Its scent is actually very heady, and more cumbersome it is a plant ... But its flowers are anything but ordinary. Imagine a little, was a time when all the flowers "dripped" nectar, was very nice to see the sunset (the veranda of my father is exposed to the west) I have also other beautiful clichés. Thank you for your comment and think before airing suffocate! : 4:: 4:: 4:

I do not know anything about this flower, it is really nice, fluffy and very special. Ta very clear picture we can see very well that it secretes the tears. The dark background is pretty much out of these stars. It must be the delight of small insects? Thank you for sharing.
