Teazle flower Inset

Author 'Patchie' (Id 156791 ) : Theme teasel Teasel Thistle also called wild thistle Fuller or cabaret-of-birds. Nice decorative plant, which is why I wanted to take pictures, but no luck, they are already faded. Who knows the history of this pungent plant that has seen good times in the industry decades ago. Yes, you read that "in the industry," I did not suspect anything until I find some explanation. Since antiquity, a variety of cultivated teasel heads elongated, curved at the tips down was used dried in the wool industry for hand finishing of woolen cloth. For more information, follow the link from my blog and another link to see pictures of the use of this plant.

It is incredible the photos that one can do with not much. It is enough to just have the eye and it at the right time !

+: The assembly of these flowers of thistle and well done.

-:I think a late black border between the photo and the white would have been nicer.

There are so many possibilities. Not easy to choose. But if I put a thin border that would have been dark brown, not black to remain in the range of colors: 18:

Very nice presentation for those thistles much enhanced by the brown background. In the mountains I look little, it is wrong. Thank you for the information I will check your blog for an explanation. Nicole g. : 3:: 3:

All that interesting ... The picture is nice, finally, editing ... I like the colors (I did not know it existed either "brown") and the presentation is successful, bravo Patch! : 4:: 6:

In fact, they are brown faded because once the flowers fall off and there remains only that.

I love them: they have nice lines like this when dry. For the first time I have seen flowers there a week in the Haute-Savoie. I did not even know they were bad. The background color is very harmonious and that installation done tastefully I really like. : 1:

Thank you. Yes, you only see a few in here and there. I have not had any luck, they were already faded, but are pretty dry.
