Terrace Restaurant Floods 769 E Hallstatt

Author 'Perronnet Catherine' (Id 186580 ) : During one of our trips in Austria we visited the famous village of Hallstatt, a world heritage of Unesco in particular circumstances : it had rained for days and the waters of the lake that borders the village had overflowed and flooded streets and gardens. The terrace country-style of this restaurant was completely flooded : what a dirty time !!!

Your photo shows well the desolation of a place that should be occupied by happy tourists.

bad time bad for you. But you're out here an image that pleases me a lot, with the flooding of the restaurant. They all want to copy Venice, I think !

Harm for your travel it was necessary to make provision of boots to visit this charming village, I had water in Venice, but the lagoon was not overwhelmed.

Given that the village is very on the edge of the lake, this must happen often.

Two photos documents that summarize the flooding of the village. I prefer the latter, the continuity of the water and the reflections of the sun gives it a fantastic look.

Me too I prefer this one : it is both more aesthetic and more striking. Thank you.

For a small coffee with your feet in the water it is perfect.
A photo that is very suitable for the contest from me.
