Identification > Le Fada de Marseille [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Dec 02, 2012
It is actually a flower endemic to New Caledonia called Grevillea gillivrayi (family Proteaceae). It is a shrub of the undergrowth of the mining lands in the south of the Grande Terre. Nice photo, nice catch

I'm going to tell my girl so that she doesn't ' dance around Noumea as a whole
I saw this flower in Caleonie once and only once, it is necessary to say that until I fall on FEI (that is to say, from the 24. 11. 2012) I do not see things as today

Hello Nicole, there it is, Lumixane called this flower : 'earth star' (well-found, non ?) however, the Fada Marseille (not-so-fada ) he has found his real name, much less poetic (see his comment above)
Good day Nicole.

Thank you Lumixane, the Fada Marseille has manifested ! It is extraordinary ! Therefore the name of this 'earth star' is in fact : grevillea gilivraye (see the commentary of Fada over the top) ! Have a good evening.
