The Chapel Of Saint Michael The Feet Dry

Author 'GAUDE J-M' (Id 240353 ) : I hope that the burst mode will be fine, in fact I posted two similar photos that have been refused for lack of net, this may be the good as. Dinou we proposed recently a nice photo of this chapel of St Michel, situated in the Hautes-Alpes lake of Serre-Ponçon. I propose to you a different take that we also demonstrates the very low level of the lake.

Impressive this dry lake bed ! The photo gives the size of the place and look strange with this chapel, which overlooks the place to emerge. Congratulations and thank you for sharing

And thin then. It is supposed to be a lake all around this chapel ? She wants to do contest with the Mt St Michel ?

Thank you for sharing this, the chapel seems to be only in the middle of this desolate landscape.
The melting snow will quickly fill the dam.

Even more impressive because with this angle you can not see the water at all, and the framing makes beautiful use of the earth discovery I was able to open the link the other day on your previous shot, but not today (page inaccessible).

Beautiful shot with the soft colors and the people at the bottom that add a more. Beautiful sharing

The Saint Michel Chapel The Feet Dry is point fort. The background mountain, the sky hazy, and the foreground brown bring nice colors. The two characters give the same life to this site, before being again swallowed up. Bravo Jean-Mi, thank you and have a nice end of Sunday.

for this cliche interesting that shows very clearly the lack of water in the lake. I also like the soft colours.

Why such a low level while one is not in a drought ? Thanks for the sharing

Hello and thank you for the visit and the comment. To answer your question : the template is realized on the 24th of march, and to this day, the lake should fill up slowly to reach its maximum, certainly at the end of the month of may. The explanation is given with the link related to the photo.

And Is it that we know why the level is so low ? Dump for cleaning ? Or just dryness ? Weird it rained for 2 months (march and April) without stopping. Thank You Jean-Mi.

I had never seen him so accessible, the lake was well down, a surreal image. Good WE.
