The Gour Of The Moulasses

Author 'Isablanchemain' (Id 186547 ) : The Gard such as the famous roman Bridge above is from the meeting of multiple rivers referred to as 'Roach'. Gardon de Saint Jean du Gard, the Gardon of Mialet such as this one, will gather a dozen miles downstream, to the south of Alès.
This river like all the rivers of the Mediterranean is experiencing during the summer months, a period of very low water. In the fall, the flood, make the mad river and hubris, before it resumed to normal, with waters bright and clear. It's a sunny day of autumn I took the pleasure to walk the banks of the gardon, which, since childhood I am deeply attached. This was the river where I made my first swim, my first real swimming strokes. The river of my first hunts naturalists, to the discovery of the fish, dragonflies, and snakes that there are so many of them.

Thank you for your so nice comments.
Yes, me-even I had practiced wilderness camping on one of these banks.
It is wonderful to fall asleep and wake up under the rustle of the waters of this river. To enjoy these scents to the twilights of the summer days.
At present, this river is attracting more and more people, the benches of sand and gravel and become hardly tolerable ; far too many people.
It is in the winter, spring, autumn, that I found these clear waters, do they still...
