Thank you for your com. It may be that in my area, they don't have enough to eat, so they take their revenge on the caterpillars

Thank you for your passage. The birds eat the caterpillars, but we will have less butterflies

I think I'm going to stop feeding them in the winter. My black pines are flooded with these cocoons every winter and I don't think my birds care.
Good documentary photo.

Thank you for your passage. Us, we feed the birds all winter, but apparently they love the living flesh

Photo very interesting, I didn't think that the birds were going to make their market in the nests of the processionary. They do not come back never empty-handed.

A pantry quite interesting for these birds and, of course, for the nature, rid of these caterpillars too harmful. A good image of the witness of the act , well seen Denis07.

Thank you for your com. Yes, it is rare to see the birds on the nests of the caterpillars.

This is not a goldfinch, Denis, but a greenfinch. The goldfinch has the red head. If the birds could we get rid of those nasty nests of caterpillars, this would be top.

Thank you for your passage. The name of the birds, I don't know and as there are a lot of goldfinches in the corner, I thought it was a female

The female goldfinch were also in the red on the head, but less than the males. This is how I recognize them.

A scene of nature beautifully capture. Which is irritating for some seems to be delicious for the other.
