The Iron Mask

Author 'Charly' A voir (Id 95279 ) : A medieval market held this weekend in Perpignan, allowed me to attend a breakfast show battle of knights in period costume. Among these, an entirely masked warrior drew my attention. His portrait can see the details of his helmet and his coat of mail, while preserving their anonymity. I called "The Iron Mask" although not in the same time as its famous successor.

> Dede69004 [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Sep 19, 2009
A beautiful shot and well treated these subjects I like. It's not really an upgrade and it comes back in tissues darker ... Woe! : 19:

> Bendulot [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Sep 19, 2009
Framing a bit tight for me I would have liked a little more shoulder and arm to realize that this is a man ... : 19: but the hdr treatment is excellent and yet I'm quite reserved about the technique, here rendering of light and color is well proportioned (not always the case ...) and the image deserves detour! 1:

> Annie.reymondie [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Sep 19, 2009

This is a subject that lends itself well to hdr, and you have succeeded admirably. The background color is also really good in shades to highlight the issue: 1:: 3:.

> Djiza [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Sep 18, 2009

> Lumixane [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Sep 18, 2009

> Le Fada de Marseille [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Sep 18, 2009
This mask of a knight of the Middle Ages shows clearly the hauberk (coat of mail), real cloth metal responsible for protecting the neck and the helmet topped cylindrical enveloping the entire head with only slits for eyes. Beautiful photography of yesteryear: 3:.

> Le fan belfortain [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Sep 18, 2009
The details of this helmet and his coat of mail are razor sharp in a presentation that is. I really feel to have before my eyes. Splendid in all respects: Charly Bravo and thank you. : 3:

It is simply superb: 19:, where the hdr is totally in his place. Have you tried letting the natural background to see? As noted Julicarm without him, it seems like the eye sees in nature. Thank you and bravo charly: 2:.

> Domi [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Sep 18, 2009
Treatment hdr makes us appreciate even more the helmet with all its details.

> Julicarm [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Sep 18, 2009
A result that only the superb hdr can sublimate it. We do also guess that on the merits, the main issue that remains as you have seen. An image quality. : 6:
