The Louvre is framed by the pont des arts

Author 'Spiros' (Id 189525 ) : This image is a crop of the photo linked according to the proposal of Lumixane. The removal of the pont des arts leads to another image where the Louvre will appear in the light of the afternoon, as in a medallion, metal. We don't even understand that it is a bridge.
This Photo was taken on November 10, 2011.

I comment late, I put it as a favorite because I find it better than the original, and yet the crop suggestion, I was skeptical, if I was trying to analyze, I would say that the bridge forms a kind of dark frame is closed on 3 sides, which enhances the clear frontage of the Louvre, I see another reason that I have already developed : a single main subject for a good photo, in the first, the bridge and the Louvre is competing in the feature and I thought the framing of the bridge too truncated, because less than one ark was visible, there, the bridge is cleared ; when the comment Anne, I'm not sure if the aesthetic outweighs the interesting, in any case according to my design aesthetics for me the interesting thing is the aesthetics, and if I want to be bad language, there are photos popular or I don't see the interest test, nor of aesthetics, but a third factor, factor x, that I am well worth understanding.

One can only agree, there is no opposition between l ? Aesthetic and interesting, or even dissociation.
The unique theme, however, is relative. In the first photo, the theme is the complexity of the site or the superposition of the layers of history. This is suggested from the title with the word 'under' and further explained in my response to Lumixane. If it is not aesthetic it is that I have not succeeded.
What is it the unique theme of the photo-related ? Not the gare de Lyon in any case that does not even appear. For me it is the dramatization, or the mortification induced by the modern constructions, obtained by unifying the color. It is aesthetic and interesting.

Well the evidence that on EIF the Aesthetic outweighs the Interesting, 4 favorites, 4 notices against the 2 favorites, and 3 notice to the photo linked. It is a pity that Lou feignassou didn't come to put his grain of salt, when it goes in favorites, usually he comments on.
I forgot to mention that the small spot has disappeared, the magic of cropping.

Not that in the eif. As I said in Golondrina, personally I prefer two, but I have a tendency to perform complex compositions, in particular when I present Paris, where the remains of centuries overlap and collide.
Perhaps, one day, I get to make photos interesting and aesthetic.

Spiros... I much prefer this version more 'tight' that offers attractive contrast...

'We don't even understand that he is a bridge' : what are you talking about ? The bridge that I understand very well to be a bridge
I would have liked to comment based on the picture linked, but it is safe, I don't understand where you got it. Do I need to change my glasses ?
Finally, I see that this photo is favorites 4 times - and yet, I am the first one to write here
There are things that exceed me tonight...

Don't panic, Golonde, we arrive I don't have a surprise because I had tried to do the cropping, which confirmed what I said in my comment under the photo linked, the result is very aesthetic, which, however, deprives us of what is happening on the surface of this bridge, the mythical, the lock by the hundreds... This post coming so in addition to the previous. Congratulations to the author for this wonderful locket paris, I buy.

Because sometimes, there is no want to describe the obvious, which is we enjoy without having to detail to provide...
The image is well-built, excellent dynamic, that is, thou hast made me speak, and the spell is broken... : 4:

This is not worth talking about your photos speak to your place. The fact of putting a photo in your favourites flatters the author. I thank you.
