Hello Francis, which surprised me, to get this magnification it is necessary to be close enough to the topic, so I am surprised by the performance of your goal to the macro without the use of a ring, macro or any other x extension pipe required. The sharpness is superb with a depth of field is very correct. Have a good evening.

Thank you for your response. In fact, with this lens I can get to 1, 50 M which is beautiful for flowers, insects including butterflies. In addition, I never use a tripod. See you soon.
