The Ways Of The Lord Are Impenetrables 01

Author 'WebMaster FEI' (Id 69619 ) : The ways of the Lord are impenetrable.
Everyone always looks up in the air in a church : ohhh the beautiful stained glass windows, ohhh the beautiful organ, ohhh the beautiful cross.
Is it not ultimately more interesting to look at the wear of the floor caused by millions of believers who have trod this ground endlessly in search of the answer to the big question : 'what after ?'.

Very good photograph can think of several things, at least she can give free rein to his imagination ...

Of course they are impenetrable and so much better. When visiting a church is also a moment that we share with God. Well I do not want to convince anyone I think that's all and your picture does me no fear, it is peace and meditation. Finally I feel like this Thank you all.

Treatment bold, I believe that under these grids is the heating of the church, I know of a similar place

beautiful photo, full of mystery and questions, to each to interpret as he wants, I like simple topics that make you think and brains work, good idea. Best regards jean-da.

Looking at the thumbnail I thought of a chasuble of the priest And contrary to what you think, I often look at the ground thinking of the faithful who have trod this ground for centuries sometimes. I like this side weathered by the years. The light reflecting on the floor is superb. Beautiful photo.

Following your picture, you might think that there is the exit towards the light of the star of life and the heat.
My disbelief led me to this path cartesian.
The choice of the N&B is a good idea.

A beautiful photo well, which is very worrying. Fortunately, you're telling us that it is in a church. What is not obvious.

On the thumbnail I thought of a garment (a surplice for its effects of sleeve) .
By clicking on the thumbnail I first saw a pavement, probably due to the wear of stones .
And this is only in the bottom of the screen and zooming that I saw, seeing the tips of chairs on each side, that it was the central aisle of a church : photo taken from the back of the high altar, lit by the light of the stained-glass window and projecting on the center aisle covered with a long carpet.
For this brightness, you had to be there at the right time. By chance or miracle, we'll never know ? 'The ways of the Lord are impenetrable' says the author of this picture.
The black and white is an excellent choice for keeping the Mystery : bravo and thank you, it succeeded.
According to the geolocation (Thank you), this is the Basilica Notre-Dame of Beaune, The collegiate church of Beaune (Côte-d'or 21).

This is actually the 'craft central' of the nave that leads to the transept and then the choir : the romanesque style in all its glory. A visit to program ! Thanks again to the author for this photo mysterious and to all of you for the many comments to be very complementary.

Complementary but sterile, my dear Panda, because here we come back to the starting point. It is decided, I am going to Beaune in the afternoon

Nice picture, but not down there no eyes in a church, at one time or another ? Regardless of what he's after, the most important thing is the present moment.

Wise word, it is the reason why we try to live it to the fullest in the present moment still, I was reliving through it to see if someone would have given THE answer ! PANDA ?

Small clarification to my previous comment, we are in the nave mea culpa, but then there's the transept and then what any man has : the c(h)oeur

We find his Faith, at the bottom of oneself
The Faith here in contemplation, not necessarily need to have it to enjoy...

As the Harmony, the impression of riding to the scaffold, you have done well to clarify that we were in a church ! This is a thing, and the other is the issue that you have raised to which NONE of the participants could not answer correctly, not even Heuzeja on which I relied a lot :18 I would have loved that Panda vienna express on the subject ! As to the state of our consciences...

> Harmony >Reply Sep 20, 2008
Photo agonizing. I guess this is what you wanted ? One has the impression to climb the scaffold and do not know how it will be executed !

It's funny that this photo of you to be scared because finally it is in a church and not in a prison or in hell.
Would you therefore so much to confess ?

> Heuzeja [G] [P] [C] >Reply Sep 20, 2008
After it is easy, it is necessary to have much imagination as the author of this shooting was to make us think.

This does not inspire me much as it is that all roads lead to Rome... It is what one says when one is lost. It sufficed to follow, in the present case, this mysterious and beautiful pavement... The light is at the end of the tunnel ! Superb picture

Churches inspire you frames bold . The posture of the penitent . What is the goal for this photo dark, a little creepy .

I added the objective, a small oversight (unintentional on my part).
50mm 1. 4 because it was the only one to allow me to make a clear photo with the bit of brightness that I had.

> Lumixane [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Sep 19, 2008
This is not very fairplay, Webmaster, to exploit the members to find the answer to your existential anxieties in the hope of finding peace of mind I now give the floor to the following Your picture is scary...
