The legend of the Col'izoard is intimately linked to that of the Case Deserted. This is a great collar cyclist, but also a place of departure for many hikes and a wonderful observation point of the French Alps. Thank you for your appreciation friendly

I followed the tour with the mountain stages, in 1984, and I admit that I had a blast at both landscapes and mountain ranges, at a sporting level. I do not remember to have seen this place at the time, but your picture is nice, it is a place to do it is certain. Bravo Fada and thank you for this presentation.

The Col Izoard 2017 was a late step of any beauty with a passage mythical by the rise of Brunissard and the stele of Fausto Copi/Louison Bobet in the Casse Desert. Thank you for your comment and to have been present with me at the finish via TV

The passage of the Deserted Breakage has made it his legend. The col d'izoard is discovered at the approach of Napoleon refuge before tackling the last mile. It has only been climbed about thirty times by the Tour de France : Louison Bobet, Eddy Merckx, Bernard Thévenet... And many others. Thank you for having enjoyed this place

Thank you for bring back memories of my tour de France (FFCT) of 2004. We had also crossed the mythical mountain where the snows were visible.

Yes, it has often been borrowed by the Tour de France cyclist. This mythical ascent has acquired a certain celebrity by making the stage particularly difficult. It is a justice of the peace to be indispensable for the riders. Thank you for your passage one more time

This is the best place to enjoy the arrival of a stage of the Tour de France. I had a nice top-down view, but it was last year and the Tour was not. Damage. But this place remains stunning. Thank you for your comment

It gives an overview of the slope of this mountain, impressive. Watching tv, I saw that it is a great place.

It is the gateway to the Queyras, a unique panorama on the Ecrins range. You are right, it is beautiful. Thank you for having appreciated.

Well me, I 'missed' the arrival of the stage. Little vegetation, and the slope dark at the bottom, intrigues me, . Thank You Fada.

I can tell you. The dark part on the right side of the photo corresponds to a part of the 'Coste belle', which rises to m 2811, thus offering a magnificent panoramic view of the Queyras, Mont-Viso, Ecrins, and the Alps. Thank you for interest you

following the advice of my husband I watched a few minutes of this step today and I discovered the beauty of this place, which is one of the few sites in France where I am not yet gone. Thank you for this beautiful photo, that sticks to the sports news !

In August 2016, I passed by the col d'izoard and I do not think that this photo would serve to illustrate the passage of a stage of the Tour de France in 2017. Very happy to share this wonderful place. Thank you for your presence .
