A very nice shot, this butterfly landed on the lavender is very clear, the colors are harmonious.

Very nice composition for this shot of proxiphoto. A beautiful diagonal and a background very blurry. Bravo !

For my part I have nothing to say, for the shooting I may be tilted a little the device, the position of the butterfly a little bit smoother, otherwise no other editing.

What a wonderful photo. The butterfly is super clean and the diagonal form with this pretty flower on the background blur, gives life and depth to your shot.

For many years now, I do not see this butterfly in my garden. However, it is not for lack of the necessary in order to attract them.
Superb framing and sharpness of the whole. Bravo !

There are very beautiful lights.
Even if, technically speaking, the oblique of the lavender flower is present, the natural is removed by the operation of rotation. Sorry for the purists of the 'technical image'.
It is a personal choice to make the nature in its normal form.
Congratulations for this decision

'the natural is removed by the operation of rotation'.
I'm not sure to have well understood the meaning of this note : could you enlighten me by clarifying your thinking.

The lavender grows in a vertical from the ground. Don, that is your goal which has caused, against nature, a oblique.

I imagined a more technical explanation and may be less objectionable. If you throw a look at the photo linked, or on some other which are the fields of lavender, you can check that if some of the strands are in a vertical position there is nothing to that of all others. The manoeuvre of rotation, if it occurred, therefore, cannot be evoked and made responsible for the disappearance of the natural.

I understand your point of view. Mine is the other. A plant, a tree grows vertically. For the photo presented I speak of the nature (without more) being only an amateur in photo I don't allow myself the critical photographic sharp. Thank you for your response that clarifies the debate.
