The church of St. Louis bitche

Author 'Jcmai' (Id 129155 ) : And now the church, which serves as a backdrop to all this crystal. The village of Saint Louis lès Bitche has only 650 inhabitants. Yet the church is one of the largest in the country of Bitche. It was built between 1897 and 1902: type basilica with a polygonal tower, it is neo-Romanesque style designed by architects German Romantics (since this is in the midst of annexation. The building located on a hill overlooking the village and its valley.

Jean-Mi thank you for your comment: to "raise" a little picture, I applied a light treatment "pseudo hdr" in this photo jpeg!

+: Beautiful building you see us here, built with stone from the Jura I think. I went to Bitche, my sister living nearby. The place where you made your shot is right.

-:A tad dark

Martine thank you for your comment. This photo is a "fake hdr", by that I mean I had a photo in jpeg, I spent slightly hdr and with only a photo can not lead the shadows. For stone they are pink sandstone of the Vosges and the history of the church the exact source was mentioned (67 Wimmenau).

Music thank you for your comment. The original picture was clear, but it is somewhat accentuated by a slight hdr treatment.

Julie thank you for your comment. For the colors a little secret, I had a photo in jpeg of this church and I've applied a light treatment with hdr Olonéo!

> Gipsy34 [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Oct 12, 2010
In this format is even better than the postcard ... would have been a shame not to show it with its octagonal tower, its roof of glazed tiles. For red stones is what exactly? Bravo and thank you is gorgeous.

Josy thank you for your comment, it is a widely used stone home in the region: the pink sandstone (same stone as the cathedral of Strasbourg, the Rohan Palace in Saverne, Mont Sainte Odile .. .). The colors are somewhat accentuated by a slight hdr treatment.
