The cochlea of pisa White Garden Snail

Author 'Isabelle S.B' (Id 216942 ) : It is as well known as the snail of the dunes, its scientific name, theba pisana. In Provence, we speak of caragouille dew. Anyway, this is not so much the snail, in and of itself, that I want to show, but a scene of quiet life on the dune. A flower of garlic is used as a crutch to a tail of a hare, which fails. A limaçon of pisa, there is

It is on this beautiful image full of poetry that I can say that I find a lot of value to the image posted by Isabelle S. B.
I regret not going to see on EIF (even if it is his opinion that I discover her beautiful work) !
And, Isabelle, the space offered by FEI for our images is exceptional !
Finally, I hope to have other opportunity to say : 5:

It is quite simple, almost stripped... in any case, for me, a high Class, well done Isabelle !

Wouaou ! Once again you prove that it doesn't take much to make beautiful images. The thin rod under the weight of the snail comes to rely on his girlfriend the flower to support the load. What richness in this deprivation. A truly great : BRAVO !

Marvel of balance that this nature so frail and so strong all at once... Nice catch clear on background blur with soft hues

Very nice picture after a good observation, it is well composed, sharp where it should be and with lovely soft colours. in Marseille, my city of birth, it is called more commonly limaçons and dégustes to drink boiled in salted water, pepper and garnished with fennel, orange peel, and garlic and it is delicious.

The function, reply to all, not existing , and not wanting to make a response 'copy/paste' to everyone, I thank you in a new comment. Thank you . For the past 6 years, about FEI, I try, modestly, out of the ordinary. Flowers, kitties, zozios... this is All very nice, but you can see it differently, and there are so many small 'scenes' to be harmless, at 1 first, which are, what I call, photos of atmosphere

> Labrume [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply May 02, 2015
Very nice judgment on the image' of a moment in the life of a snail. This long rod bent to press the flower gives a great finesse to your shot. The 'kitten' brings the sweetness, and the snail curled up, the horns in the wind... seems to be clinging to life simply. Thank you Isa, for this fleeting moment in the life of a snail. TB+.

Nice balance to this small snail that must of burst Isabelle us to get off the beaten track with this superb image that does not lack originality once again, a real treat I just read Jofu, emotionally, attention to the catapult

Thank You, Monique
Yes, I'm trying to get out, as you say, off the beaten track :the 12:. It is sufficient to observe, look... there are small things, scenes that are trivial, that will challenge... For the catapult, I think that the snail is on the wrong side

> Perronnet Catherine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply May 02, 2015
superb ! You are the queen of minimalism and simplicity, among other things, of course ! The softness of the light echoes the simplicity of the scene.

It is a beautiful balancing act ; it makes me think of the machines of the Middle Ages aimed to project the balls and called the couillards. The image is well composed and the bokeh is to die for ; very good work, .

Thank you, Joel, for this look
For the catapult, you will notice that the ball is on the wrong side
