A cold beauty. The water seems to be viscous and the turquoise blue of the sea, coupled with the different shades of blue and white, which gives a very nice picture .

I was not referring to the eruption in 1724, but simply my feeling when I surveyed these places have led me to think that I was walking there on the head of the devil and that at any moment he was able to manifest itself more dramatically than may be its boiling water or its vapors are thought to smell of sulphur.

It is deeper than the lake St - Jean, this crater. What is the turquoise, a landscape without vegetation, impressive place. Lovely image under a blue sky at last.
