The dead leaves gather on the rake

Author 'Jofu' (Id 230651 ) : Before you pick up the dead leaves to the shovel it is necessary to use a rake .
For the little story, I published this photo on the website of my club in order to participate in the October contest 'The haze'. Blur, yes ! Art, not sure, .

A beautiful image, with a nice blur successful I think. I don't know enough. Your photo is lovely in any case.

Hello, nice picture, it is certain that a low depth of field allows you to control and target the desired subject for him to give her strength, thank you for sharing.

Very beautiful autumnal colours for this beautiful photo. The choice of the leaf is well thought out. As I am particularly fond of the shallow depths of fields, I find this all very aesthetic.
In fact the term soft refers to the fact to obtain a softness desired, and mastered (what you have very well managed to do).

... with perhaps a little less realistic to get a haze. Thank you Helen, the queen of the low pdc and blur .

Hello Jofu, I'm not enough technical to describe this photo, but I like a lot the rendering, it happens to me often do the same thing without wanting it and this pleases me well, because the net highlights the main subject !
Thank you for sharing !

I don't really know what one means by the term bokeh but here the blur has a small depth of field is well used, with the net just on the sheet of the most colorful, which is even better

This is how I had seen things by choosing the leaf the more colorful but I don't know if I should include the rake. Thank You Mady.

You have chosen the sheet with a beautiful red color, net, among the other blurry. I would be well annoyed if I had to participate in this contest.

It is just time to enjoy the last leaves of autumn before winter is here. A good use of aperture for a shallow depth of field.
> Candy [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Dec 02, 2016
Hello Jofu, blur or not blur artistic, I'm not quite an artist to say. I would say a sheet of clear on a background blur, and it's nice.
> Gipsy34 [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Dec 02, 2016
The red sheet is net to me this is the main. This rug multicolored blur or not has pretty colors. Thank You Joel.

I love the colors but I don't see the bokeh as this. You'll have to tell me what others have thought.

Me neither ! In fact I think the word art was too much. I guess that, like me, you mean by bokeh blur, which lets you see the image like an abstract painting, for example. There, he had to see in the picture one of the 6 or 7 blurry possible (blur, move, blur caused by a shallow depth of field-this is the case with this photo, panning,...). Among the 34 photos published, 3 or 4 claimed to present a haze. What others have thought of ? Not a great thing, . Thank you Cathy for your passage.

Thanks for the explanation Joel. In fact the exercise was very 'technical' and often the word 'artistic' does not go well. Me I see more of a blurred picture, but as a whole it more evenly as behind a curtain of fog for example. Good stay in bordeaux.
