The dunnock

Author 'Francis-Sisco' (Id 214481 ) : Its nest is placed less than 1, 5 m from the ground in a bush or a shrub, (often a small coniferous tree).
Its eggs are the color of bright turquoise. The dunnock can afford to have eggs too colorful, because the nest is placed in a dark place where the camouflage is less important than in birds that nest in the open.

And well ! This little '1000ième' is cute and beautifully presented on its branchette. The colors are harmonious, the subject is super sharp and the bokeh melted. A very beautiful image. Congratulations for this superb collection, Francis.

If it is true that it has a resemblance with the sparrow (female) I think that it is much smaller.

It has the same size as a red throat. Sometimes it is a little misleading, depending on their position and attitude of defence. They also know how to be bigger to show their muscles Thank you for your comments.

Pretty small bird that looks very much like the sparrow in its beak, perhaps ? Thank you for this nice photo Francis.
