I love the hydrangeas ; they are beautiful in all seasons. To better put the hydrangeas in value, you could have cut the green part to the left and keep only the hydrangeas.

Yes, they are hydrangeas or hydrangeas. The bloom here is about the decline, which gives its colors a bit faded and a few points of rust, what is weird is that your photo has apparently been taken in the month of may. Normally the hydrangeas are not yet at that stage. You were in what area ?
