Author 'Syruloben' (Id 190044 ) : First trials on the theme of the 'old tree and the child'.
I would like to make a photo that shows the report young, old, vulnerable, strong, majestic, small. This first testing I am assuming that I need to look for an isolated tree and to suggest another break to my son (which one ?). Thank you for your ideas, proposal, scoping, and comments.

The photo has, for me, a symbolism very different from what the other feistes have suggested.
The tree is in an advanced stage of disrepair, it can not represent the strength. The ivy is in the process of invading it, so it's a war, the new, the young, destroys the old. The child is too small, insignificant next to this battle, if it was a bit larger and looked at the tree one could assume that he is fascinated by this fight.
That said the picture is very beautiful against the grey of a frozen landscape and sorry to ivy green in its center that the fact reborn.

Thank you for your comment. What I like about it is the different visions of the same photo, I find it informative and interesting. You're right when I looked at the photo the first time I was amazed at how Benjamin seemed small next to the tree.

Thank you for your ideas nice, it is true that a little action would be much better. I like the idea of the balloons that would make the tasks of color. To try in any case if the opportunity presents itself. Thank you for your comments.

This tree is beautiful, half hardwood, half covered in snow The framing is too tight, it is better to see the tree in its entirety (yes, I know that you couldn't ) and without a house. Some ideas : run your son to the tree, hands outstretched or not. Him under the tree, releasing of balloons and looking towards the sky. In my opinion : a bit of a dynamic to your son. At his age, this is not the stillness which takes precedence and, regardless of this attitude, we will always see the report that you want to show : the sizes are so different

Your intro called opinions/suggestions The photo speaks to me in its harmonious composition. Tree, oak or beech has long years of experience, your little guy has the future in front of him, the tree appears to him to instil wisdom and energy, it is noted that he seems to live in good understanding with the ivy which was chosen to host. In short, a very nice picture full of poetry that which does not prevent you from doing other tests once the apn revised
The vision of Julie me a lot of fun, I can see what she saw...

Thank you for your comment that encourages me. I look forward to continuing my tests because I have found a theme that I like, I just hope that the verdict will not be too heavy for my Nikon (I have to wait 3 week, hard, hard). If the tree will whisper wisdom to my son (it can be believe given that he loves them as much as I do) your comments give the desire to continue and go forward. The trunk of Julie I've also seen, and it has done well to see it because it would have been much more beautiful than a hedge cut in the square, and especially made me smile and that is valuable.

That beautiful tree this is !!! Your little boy should be a little closer to the trunk and tries to shoot entirely in the branches. But it is already a beautiful shot that I like and that makes it well with the snow.

it is a good idea, but I think that it may be that your son is closer to the shaft and in contact with him, he the key and/or the look for that we see the link between them.

Thank you Catherine for your comment. I'm going to try something in this direction, but I need to find the tree that lends itself to it, and especially that my camera goes in for repair. It is one of the last photos that I have taken the mirror is secure and does not rise when I click. I hope this is not too serious.

For me, it is already well expressed.
The top ? Same scene with a little more perspective, a large extent without a house or tree trunk across...
With a fog bank on the horizon...
I'm just kidding, in fact it just lacks a bit of decline may be because the tree has a beautiful port and I imagine it well wide...

Thank you Julicarm, you're right for the mist and the fall. Wrong for the trunk lying as it is the fence of the white house . I régenterai this kind of photo as soon as my path crosses a beautiful tree ISOlated. For this one there is no turning back. By contrast I can go to the ring to ask people to shave the hedge . I look forward to your next photos.

How could I make such a confusion... !
I am ROFL... !
I've been possessed by your beautiful idea of the tree-symbol and of the sudden, I saw them everywhere...
Admit that it is to be mistaken, except maybe the size..

congratulations Syruloben, I remember this photo !!!

The theme is a good idea that you should expand the Forum to see the characters in the greatest and not need to floutté. I love the composition of your photo :6, but. No saturation is exaggerated in the sky
