The peacock christmas

Author 'Charly' (Id 135821 ) : Christmas we had booked a surprise: a band of 6 peacocks came to visit us. They came to take their meal right at our window, probably attracted by the seeds that we are to feed the birds. A beautiful and unexpected sight. The best was the male who still wears some beautiful feathers. : 5: The peacocks are they migrating? And are they able to travel great distances? : 14:

Very nice shot and lucky to have met! For the cons are not migratory, they certainly come from a farm not far from home. FYI, they can travel a dozen miles if they were scared of something. Surely someone who seeks ...

You had a nice visit of these magnificent birds that have made the wall come to feast at home, attracted by the tempting smell of victuals as an offering to our friends in heaven. : 3: and thank you for sharing.

I will return to tell you that I like peacock ... : 6: and you also mention (without prejudice) that it is not a migratory bird, although it is "native" of India, long ago that her beauty has made it a semi-domesticated bird on the entire globe, in temperate climates. Parks often have them, but they return to the fold in the evening ... Those were the wall to get their Christmas gift ... : 19: Is there not a wildlife park near you: 14: they may be: WANTED ... Negotiated .. 17:

Maybe they will come back, attracted by seeds? We have the right to peacock the New Year: 16: Charly Bravo for this shot amazing.
