Beautiful. We all would like to have this seen coming out of our gate with us, right ?

The idea is good, the background image is well coloured, but this beautiful set might have earned a hdr, so as to better illuminate the inside and also to reduce a little the brightness of the avenue of stones, (B+)

Very nice journey from darkness to light in which the dosage of the contrast is well controlled and the viewing angle clever to save the against-full day in your cell...

A pretty style that is pleasing and a beautiful shot even if the horizon is a little stuffy. As for the contrast of light and shadow, it is always tricky, and my faith pretty well !

A frame in the frame... A photo joking or light and shade are very contrasting.

I love it what a lovely given that we realize on the other side of this door and the light is extra (TB) thank you Jofu

I like this style of photo : a framework within a framework. The door serves as a frame to the landscape outside. The tree is very beautiful and well placed to admire the view to the horizon. Attention to the eyes by the outgoing

Despite the large variation of lights, you're doing pretty well.
Then it leaves and it takes for the sun to warm up.
(B+). The large slab across the door is at the limit of overexposure.

You're right Daniele and a door would have so many stories to tell. Thank you for your passage.

Oh I love this kind of photo is not easy to achieve because of the contrast. You have a privileged view on the wonderful outside, you can feel the heat and I can hear the cicadas...

I advise you to Provence in September, when the tourists are gone. One drawback : the average age increases, :the 18:. Thank You Monique.

what I like here, as in many of the photos, it is the atmosphere and in your picture you feel the passage of the freshness generated by the thick stone walls to the scorching heat of the provencal climate.

Well I perceived it as you, but in September the heat was not overwhelming but gentle, soft,... Thank you Cathy.

Between light and shadow, the exercise is not easy, the light is difficult to be measured in order to avoid that the back is over exposed and the front is too dark, you have found the right balance here Julie has the eye, I had not been aware of the roof that hid a part of the horizon

It is true that with light and shadow mixed it is not easy to get a good exposure ; the device has done its job well. Like you, I hadn't noticed the roof, attic space. Julie sees everything. Thank You Mady.

Thou hast found thy way in this art that we all cherish...
Your imprint begins to be known, the current photos are well assimilated...
I'm more intuitive, less disciplined..
The image is nice, damage to the roof, which the mouth of the horizon, a real final target of the vanishing point, but the idea is creative and deserves a big respect, well done !!!

Oh, Julie, you're strong ; thanks anyway . Leaving the castle, I had a little bit of effort to adjust the framing and the collimators may have done their job well.
