Really excellent, I discovered through the contest and I like it a lot. The aesthetic is perfect and the photo is intriguing and mesmerizing. We look at, we love, we try to understand and one does not weary oneself like in front of a table in which you are unable to detach. Bravo, sublime.

Thank you for this nice comment Louise.
I was chatting on the terrace with my daughter, her shade I was drawn to. I've taken taken my camera on the table and 'click'. She has not had time to react.

If there were a prize for originality in the category portrait, it would be likely to appear in the first place. : 3: I thought at first glance on the thumbnail to see me before a mount but if you look closer, and after reading the various comments I come to the conclusion that we must see a famous kick eye to achieve this remarkable result that, for me, tu excellence. : 1:

The source of light is a mystery to many. Yet I have not touched on the face (dark). The original was. I think the dazzling white of the wall have caused a sort of against the light??

Hi Daniel, thank you for your passage. : 5: Yes, I seized the moment this photo was improvised. My camera was on the table on the terrace, I took it quietly. Then I said to Helen "Stp not move!", And here.

Charly thank you for your comment. : 6: It's true that a shadow is always intriguing. The famous question remains: who is behind that shadow? Vi, vi, vi, one must still wait a bit to know exactly ... Response on the forum as soon as I have time, I will lift the veil ... shade.

> Charly [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Sep 13, 2011
: 3: Nice look: the shadow draws out the young girl's face was half hidden. We try to mentally reconstruct the entire face, forcing the eye to remain in the picture. : 1:

> Author Labrume [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Sep 13, 2011
The white wall in direct sunlight was very dazzling. : 11: I thought against that kind of day could have this effect (dark face of Helena). What is certain is that I have not touched that level. You have indeed found Daniel: Shadow think is serious. It is a shade uneasy ... Thank you for your comment and your favorite setting. : 6:

In any case: 3: in cliche, this originality. : 6: thank you to you for sharing this beautiful full of sweetness.

Like Julie I am challenged by the origin and the source of the light source ... Let us the result is very successful. I wonder if I would not have attempted to adopt a square format by cutting the left in order to standardize the background. That said, the bricks echo the T-shirt and cap rusty brown Helen: 18: Pros and cons ...

Lumixane Hello, Your passing makes me very happy. : 6: I tried by removing the left side but the picture seemed duller. As you say rightly, the bricks are reminiscent of the T shirt etc ... I thought the tone of bricks over a piece of fire could that bringing heat to the aggregate of 18: But there are pros and cons, and there is a matter of taste. Not always easy to make the right choice! As for the lighting of the face, look at the response I made to Julie. : 19:

Without spoiling too much, you can expect the pretty face of your daughter, a very successful shadow play, a very interesting shot and nice tones declining in the remaining "brown and gray," I really like: 1:

Thank you Nicole, the "pretty face" of Helen (as said), however, was grim that night. : 20: Her sister Marie had to undergo a serious operation the following day. The heart was far from the party ...
