The tiger moth Callimorphini

Author 'Boucher Marc dit de Meilh' (Id 137377 ) : The tiger moth or Callimorpha (Euplagia quadripunctaria) is a moth of the Arctiidae family, the subfamily Arctiinae Euplagia and gender. This butterfly has been pursued thickets and bushes until I could take this picture when he landed on a shrub Broadleaf. See the photograph. He made me run, I could not photograph it with open wings. Marc Boucher said Meilhan.

: 1: This butterfly, tiger moth is beautiful with white stripes on black background. Wings folded well, it feels safe. In case of danger, he opened his wings and leaves an orange color to appear red and surprising repels potential predators. Splendid presentation on green leaves and with the frame. Bravo and thank you Marc. : 3:

This shot was not easy ... but hey, this is also part of the picture. I knew that the 'ritual' of insects and other animals often change color, etc.. In an attempt to frighten the predator ... Your science is in our minds and we thank thee ... Regards, Mark.

I would have seen a little more space above ... but this butterfly is beautiful! (Sounds like a guitar pick!: 20:).

Yes cry, but there is more space at the top ... True, it is beautiful and especially for having been taken under gray skies. Thank you to you, Mark.

Original coach to make you play sports! A "delivered" graphic to escape predators? : 19:

Hello Abalone. Although seen in all respects. Sport: it took me so much stride ... Livery: a head, a special graphics to scare course, but mostly to protect themselves. Thank you for this fair comment and good day, Mark. : 19:

I love the colors less of it, but it is still very beautiful. Congratulations to Marc and thank you for the photo sharing.
