The two apples Still life

Author 'Jofu' (Id 212981 ) : A few unusual objects placed on an old table, a plaid car black as the background, an ordinary lamp to provide illumination in the absence of pro gear, this is my recipe for this essay of a photograph of a still life.
My wife was worried : 'What are you doing ? '
Answer : 'I'm having fun. '

Not so unusual as it, this is the object of a man of letters to the old
Apple may have several symbolisms, which is already suggested by Hdeledicque
It can also refer to the futility of the knowledge or simply to the fact that even scientists need to eat.
This is a great picture it makes us rélechir.

Bravo for this beautiful still life is made with the 'means' I love it !
Maybe I would play a little more on the sharpness (but this is just my opinion, which is worth for what it's worth).

Very good idea, the objects form a beautiful set, but I think it lacks a bit of light on the left.

It is because of this lack of light that I find the photo not complete. Thank You Ninik.

This presentation is also interesting It's like being in the office of Newton (except maybe the glasses ) The brightness lends itself well to the stage. for this photo !

great idea Joel, I love the still lifes. The painters lit up using candles placed at the back of their compositions : did you process this way ? The objects are well chosen and their disposition, too, except that I would maybe not hidden the apple with the glasses, I would have put either behind the two books to the right, in front to the left, but it is a detail and a personal choice. to your creation.

For lighting I used an ordinary lamp, for my last photo, I changed my process by illuminating the set with an iPhone. Yes, the glasses and the apple would not have had to be nearby. Thank You Cathy.

Okay, so now, dear Joel, it is necessary that you kinds the tubes of paint, brushes, and as you paint this beautiful nature morte I think that there are féïstes that will launch there. ... In any case, your implementation of 'scene' is superb the light is well dosed, if I want to nitpick, I would say that the red sea has to take a shot of hot
Joel for your imagination

I comment without having read the other com, it is better, not of external influence
homogeneous Ensemble with accessories yet heterogeneous...
If the lighting is consistent with your idea, it is respectable... focus on the terrestrial globe is an interesting concept, I will be also gone in this direction...
A to your creativity that is constantly renewed, it is an encouragement and an invitation to the creation on FEI.. Thank you. Another look could be a light with more relief on all objects, this goal could be achieved by multiple lighting...
A to left to put the detail (of the relief) on the objects to the left...
A lighting light to lead slightly the black background...
A diffuser on the lighting of the globe to mitigate and diffuse the light (a simple paper layer on the light is very much the case)...
All of these lights would be of different power to keep the terrain in the whole... Attention to the type of lighting, if they are different, the temperature of di

Thank you, René, for your long comment well supported. For lighting, I had nothing planned in particular ; it was brought by an ordinary lamp and it is for this reason that I say that the photo is not successful. On the next photo, the lighting is provided by an iPhone and to me seems to be better.

All for a good orientation of this photo ! In addition, if you lose, you have what it takes for you to restore.
Nice staging, thank you Joel !

A globe, three pounds, one weighs letters, an apple and a pair of glasses, the writer is not far away. Nice composition. It is with the simplest equipment you can do better. Soon, Joel for more photos. Marcel.

Could we blame ? The layout of the objects and especially the light ; the weigh-letters-is-enough informed ? Yesterday I started with fruit and illuminating the objects with an iPhone and I think the light is most beautiful. I will publish the result. Well, of course, Mady, you are able to do the same. Read the EXIF data and uses a foot. Thank you for your passage.

Nice all of these objects for a painter as well as a 'nature morte'. It would make a beautiful table. Thank You Joel.
