There is nothing to decree and especially not his

Author 'Armor' (Id 248579 ) : I was very moved when I saw this little old lady certainly at least 85 years to remove the weeds on the forecourt of the church of the village. An image of a different time. Faith, courage and will. I investigated a little on it in the village, and it is a lady-like many Portuguese of this generation who do not know what is the rest and who are still. Bravo my little lady
This photo was taken in a small village in the Traos es Montès.

The N&B can bring out things that the colors would not make in value. You have very well used this possibility. I love it. TB+++.

Thank you Ninik for your comment, a photo from another time and place

A moment of life ! I love this contre-jour, which highlights the hair and the curvature of the back of this old woman. Shadows of the balustrade and the character give a lot of relief to the image. The treatment in N&B is essential here.
At first glance, I thought Robert Doisneau:: 6:

Actually this lady seems to be very old. They extinguished if such stalwart ladies of their time. Beautiful N&B.

A cliché that seems of another age to the present generations The framing is good and the black and white well suited

It's Impossible not to make a NB for this photo that seems to date back to the 19th century

A living proof that it is necessary to move more as the body allows. A view well framed, the lady on the left and the black-and-white, which is perfect for this kind of shooting.

Well, yes, people of that age were not high as we are ! And our grandchildren will have even less than us. Thank you for this beautiful photo Mireille.

Thank You Josy. It is in any case a great lesson of will and courage. And above all I believe that the occupation is better than idleness for some people especially for this generation in the north of Portugal who has not lived in comfort and affluence

An image touching and neat as usual Mireille.

> Perronnet Catherine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Mar 26, 2020
very beautiful photo, touching indeed. I've seen the equivalent in Denmark, but the lady was less aged.
