Two photos in one, the painter in action and the beach and old rigs, my eyes constantly passes from one to another. Not easy, this picture: 18: you manage the property: 3: The trunk is black on the left a bit imposing, but it allows the light to be returned to the painter in the shade: 3:.

Beautiful landscape accented with colorful sails on the beach, it is reminiscent of holiday cheer and thank you Bruno.

It was certainly possible to blur a little sailboats, but not on this device tester depth of field, plus the artist was completely in shadow, it was not something really easy, without counting all those who passed to go on the pier or give a look at the painting. But at least this picture does not leave indifferent and that is the main, I think. Amicalement. Bruno

The photos where one hesitates between 2 subjects (here, painting and sailing), are seldom striking. Do not you go out so badly here. Personally, I managed to take almost never a sufficient basis in this case to choose one of two subjects taken in the heat of action and will make a sudden the pleasure one feels on the ground to contemplate a scene. Here, in retrospect, one might wonder whether a focus on painting with an opening that small boats would blur the background, would have been preferable. As they were in the light, and that their form is characteristic, it would have just guessed what the artist painted. I tried a touch rough to see ... but very poor compared to what one might have with a real blurring of the background to the shooting.

I do not think the tree trunk embarrassment, anyway it was impossible to eliminate if it is only coming to take photos with a chainsaw (just kidding!). The difficulty for me was to lead the painter who was in shadow but does not overexposed sailboats, finding the right balance and above all be patient as the path to the painter led to the dock, and a back and forth without interruption!

+: In a sense the trunk channels the light towards the subject - unusual: 3: - seen through the eyes of the painter. An angle of view certainly very thoughtful, not easy! A beautiful scene of life ...

-:... Still a little cluttered for my taste: 18:
