Author 'Didi' (Id 71757 ) : I had looked I did not find the name of this plant common in Quebec in the fields at the beginning there is a cluster of small flowers drooping old roses that turn into pupa and then who opens à l ' fall to let its winged seeds, and flowers from her feel very good.

It is out of the ordinary and this tuft of hair as angel is superb. In addition if it smells ... it must be great to be able to watch closely.

IT is the common milkweed or poison cotton (Asclepias syriaca). It is a plant native to North America, Quebec's short, highly invasive, found on land left fallow. It offers many small, fragrant pink flowers in summer, and large pale green fruit in the fall. At the end of winter, the fruit releases many thorny seeds provided with silky and pearly crested that beautifully shows us this wonderful photo, well taken to allow the search and identification. Bravo
