Town Hall Of Lille Belfry

Author 'Crabecanoe' (Id 181000 ) : The town Hall of Lille and its Belfry. Imposing building, full of history. It is a place to visit. The town Hall was erected in the district of Saint Saviour, which was repeatedly bombed and destroyed. You can climb to the top of the belfry. From up there you can see the Mounts of Flanders. Brick noble, so-called 'Brick of Armentières' is widely used in the building.

it is true that it is leaning a bit but I find your idea of presenting the two buildings on the same shot interesting.

Thank you Catherine for having appreciated and noticed this picture. The town Hall of Lille is often photographed with only the belfry. I chose this angle because the buildings around the belfry deserve the photo. See you soon for other photos. Friendships. Marcel.

Interesting Marcel. So this is where the Inhabitants carry out their duty as a voter and where perch the mayor, well-known media. I have tried to straighten your shot. Mission impossible with Photofiltre that shiftN, or with both. There's always one of two buildings that rest in a position 'uncomfortable'. In my opinion a type of cliché to avoid.

Thank you Ghislain for appreciating and noted that photo. I exposerais the original photo on the forum. The belfry and the main building are twisted and I find it hard to straighten the perspective. I wanted to present the town Hall with its Belfry in the background. To be successful in this photo I would have to be at least twenty meters above the ground.
The buildings of the town Hall of Lille are to visit, it date back to the 1930s. See you soon for other photos. Friendships. Marcel.
