Tragopogon Porrifolius....

Author 'Isabelle S.B' (Id 190911 ) : It is what you say, Tragopogon Porrifolius ... well, here's the flower. I took this shot at the end of may 2012, on the dune, to where there is tall grass. Not knowing what it was, I put it on a forum for identification and it turns out that it is a flower of salsify. If salsify is not very beautiful, and the flower is quite lovely. Now, when I eat, I will look upon it differently

Oh ! And here is a photo that takes us out of the greyness of this winter and it's good.
Nice realization ! The flower in the background distracts a little the attention, but the colors of your flower manage to recall the gaze to her.

Wish I had put a comment yesterday evening and it does not appear, I was saying that it was a salsify of Provence. There's a lot at us in the South of France.

Thank You, Golondrina . To tell the truth, I was in search of insects and I saw this flower peeking out of the tall grass. There was only one and it was the 1st time that I saw. I had never seen before and there is no view on the other. I will return in may.
Good day.

We learn every day about FEI ! Thank you for the beautiful presentation of this flower, which I will probably never have the name , but that I will recognize if I see a a day. Thank you for sharing such beautiful finds. I stamped the plantain attracts the eye.

Beautiful shot, clear and bright. It is a discovery for me because I thought that the flowers of salsify were always yellow. With the yellow stamens, this purple is a beautiful color.

> Jofu [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Feb 11, 2013
The flowers are replacing the birds and it is always so nice . The simplicity of the framework is a plus .

Good for which is to retain the name 'Tragopogon Porrifolius' too complicated for my little brain, however flower of salsify no problem. I love salsify ! Very beautiful view and well put in value by its presentation

> Mady [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Feb 11, 2013
I know the flower of salsify wild, which is yellow, but I have never seen a She is very beautiful and you did a very good enhancement on the background blur, with a frame simple and suitable
