Treat them well newts

Author 'Gilbair' (Id 232690 ) : This little newt was saved from a likely death with several of its congeners. During their spring migration in a forest near Montricher, various amphibians must cross a road to get to their mare.
It is a hecatomb inevitable has been averted this year by the installation of a barrier which can stop them and then collect them in traps before they walk deadly and drop them directly into a mare so that they can spend the summer before their return to the forest in the fall.

What a great initiative they have taken in thee to save these delicate creatures. Beautiful photo.

Everything is relative, alas... there is not far from Montricher to a small natural pond. There were hundreds of tétards and at least 6 newts. The pond was dry because of the drought unusual. All tétards are dead. I don't know if the newts were able to move in time, because there are other ponds not far away ! Thank you for the visit.

I find that the sharpness is more visible on the hand than on the triton that lack of detail.

Thank you for the visit and the comment. The lack of detail on the triton itself is largely, I believe, a characteristic of the device. He did not like the dark relatively uniform and gum light details visible yet to the eye. I don't think it is a lack of depth of field in this case.
