I want to go back to your photo. An idea comes to me through the mind : I see that with this filter and these conditions, you still much closed the diaphragm.
You could do several trials of the same scene, with different speeds to see the difference of rendering and come share your experience on the forum.

I also have this filter in a project and I found your first try excellent.
I'll wait for your photos with the sun to see if the ND400 is sufficient with a high brightness.

To have bought it some time ago, I can tell you that this filter is roughly effective to lower the lights and allow this kind of feat...
It just takes time to find the right settings, but I see that you are insured, it is excellent, bravo
