Tropical almond Flowers and fruit



Author 'Ninik' (Id 192405 ) : The tropical almond (Terminalia catappa), or tropical almond tree is found everywhere in Senegal. It is a tree big enough, the fruit of which contain almonds. Here the fruit (in the thumbnail) are not yet ripe.
In wolof, the local people call 'guertè toubab' or myrobalan.

very nice picture, I don't know what size it reaches, but it must be high in color to its flowering, and if the fruits are edible, it is even better Bravo we get to enjoy this rarity

This very beautiful tree, native of New Guinea, is found throughout the belt intertropical.
