Author 'Boucher Marc dit de Meilh' (Id 214487 ) : (Dear WebMaster, I re-present this image to the right dimensions, I realized that it was not on the previous one. Which is a shame because it deserves that you can see the 'detail' of the work that has been done... My Best Wishes !)
This is a mosaic exhibited in the museum of Gallo-Roman from Vienna in Isère/Rhone... You can admire the meticulous work of the artist of this time. A photograph at the good dimensions allows to better approach the detail of the subject, the work of art here. Ph : Marc de Meilhan.

Hello Louise. This photo is in net effect, I believe that it is necessary to show to what extent the artist of antiquity were geniuses, scientists, artisans and, of course, fine with demiurge of knowledge... Thanks to you to be spent on the gallery, and have re-boosted a little FEI, which seems a little 'jaded', 'phlegmatic', and so on For some time, what I condemns strongly ! Marc.

you're right, Marc : we see the work in more detail here, and it is remarkably well done.

You see, I was right ! We can still admire this beautiful work and especially the time spent to do it... but they knew to take the time to do beautiful things ; it's not like today where beautiful things need to be cashed out in hours, time and money. Thank you.

What a work of patience and precision. The artist who made this mosaic had to spend a lot of time. How lucky that it arrived in such beautiful condition today. Thank you Marc for this great discovery.

Yes, I said to Cath. They knew to take the time to make beautiful creations, it gave them the time, the result only mattered. Simply the floors of the apartments which have survived the onslaught of the flames, wars, etc, Are virtually remained intact : pottery, such as paintings.
