Hello Mick, a postcard with your picture that offers soft colors that give an impression of happiness.

This is a beautiful photo with peaceful : the blue of the water is particularly beautiful : it is natural ?

Thank you have asked
The lake is not natural (as often), it serves to prevent flooding in Paris... (cf Wiki)
But your question is, of course, out of the blue : there is absolutely no retouching to the color of the water, it was like that before I arrived, and ditto when I am repartu
Thank you for stopping by with a nice comment, (even if to you bother I responded like an ass).
Good luck... Mick.

In fact I am delighted that you have responded 'like a donkey', because then I've learned something, and I do amazes me more than the color of the water : indeed, I have noticed that the artificial lakes had very often the colors are very pronounced, I don't know why, and you ?

I'm thrilled too !
For the differences of colors I have a 'theory' :
- for artificial lakes : before man decided he had ups and downs over the land to be submerged (we even saw some churches that go beyond more or less of the surface of the water), and this needs to 'shine' by the sun, the surface of the place, in function of its depth.
- If it is a natural lake that has existed for thousands of years ( ( ? ? it looks like the south ? !) ), it's a safe bet that nature has made her 'nest' (bed) and almost all leveled...
This is only my opinion

I don't know if your explanation is good, but I have to say it holds the road and appears to be plausible and logical.
