Nice photo, his wings are huge, his break is very elegant, with his 'boa' around the neck !!!

'Vulture' (Gyps fulvus) with his head covered with white down and the frill of ruffled feathers at the base of a neck. On this picture you can admire the plumage primarily brown shade with flight feathers black. Beautiful bird : bravo and thank you.

See the length of the feathers and the thickness of the wings, it must have a scale that is huge ! Well framed, well net !

Described elsewhere, the 'Vulture' (Gyps fulvus) has a wingspan of 255-280 cm. In comparison, that of the 'herring Gull' (Larus argentatus) is from 130 to 160 cm, that of the 'Magpie' (Pica pica) is 55 to 60 cm and our 'house Sparrow' (Passer domesticus) is merely a medium-sized 25 cm ! Large-scale, so for this raptor !
