Author 'Ninik' (Id 53890 ) : Waterloo (B) Wellington Museum. I asked for a brochure at the tourist house and here is what it reads : The Wellington Museum is housed in a former inn relay, dating back to the 18èS. The Duke of Wellington, commanding the allied armies against the French forces of Napoleon, moved, on the 17th and 18th of June, 1815, his headquarters. This hostel, well located, was large enough to accommodate the multiple services of his staff. On the evening of the battle, the duke wrote the news of victory, sent to the british government.
With these photos I release my new camera Kodak EasyShare ZD710 that I'm going to have to learn to master.

Beautiful image of a past not very glorious history of the Napoleonic army. The building looks great but it is a problem of perspective.

I am aware that my photos have major defects; for a better view of this building, see the editing of Nenfer. It will be necessary that I learn how to 'dab'. I have done tests with Photofiltre, but this is not easy at all !
In response to Rotine, I intend to go for a ride on the side of the Lion when the weather will be beautiful and that I will be in shape to climb up all the stairs

I know that building to be there past already few times before, when walking in Braine l'alleud or Waterloo we pass sometimes before there is even a walking club that organizes the 60 km of The emperor, whose departure is at Braine l'alleud, and goes more or less where Napoleon's troops are gone, I've never made them but my husband yes, it is a region or small roads are still many cobblestones.
It can also be close to building to climb the stairs of the Lion of Waterloo, I hope that you we show it in photos.
