Wild cardere of the causse

Author 'Heuze.michel' (Id 45193 ) : A wild cardere of Causse Mejean. This plant was formerly a carding wool and felt to make clothes. I have worked the image with a bit of saturation, partial and fuzzy B &... You can try?

As a graphic designer I find that work is good, by the gradient cons b & w / color gives a kitsch side to your picture after that is my opinion and it is only my opinion.

VERY. And who had the patience to do a picture with a teasel, and a bird to eat the seeds or simply drink ... ???

It fills both the photographer (amateur) and the host bird. Indeed this ancient 'comb' is it not also 'watering bird? (as said before) In the spring I'll try to do, almost as well with my Z DMC 18. Bravo to the author of this shot! PJ

Excellent photo... and there was even the soul of the thistle. Grace, elegance, acuity. This is beautiful.

The use of a long lens has made it possible to ISOlate the cardère of its environment. Beautiful image !

Superb image in beautiful light, sharp details are well put in value. Also, I think it would have been nice to clear the end of the second cardère in the lower left corner, and add at least a simple black border around the photo.

'Cardère' or 'Cabaret of the birds' (Diosacus sylvester). The lower leaves form a cup that holds the water where the birds come to quench their thirst. The flowering stem is very spiny and is covered with small mauve flowers. It will also be noted that the bracts (leaves different leaves in general) are very long and sharp. Beautiful and spicy photo : bravo and thank you.

The cardère which was used to... Card is not quite: his quills are tipped with small hooks like velcro... See the full story in the sympathetic newspaper 'La Hulotte' The cabaret of the birds, that is his other name, I like it a lot, but the effect of edging is a bit too far. I would have also fired (or fully ) the second a thistle, there is no be...

I know the newspaper 'La Hulotte' but I have not had the opportunity to read the article about the cardère, also called 'thistle foulon, bath of Venus, comb wolves...' This thistle, is presented and its use indicated as such to the Ecomusée du Pont de Montvert in Lozère. A visit... Thank you for your comment.

Very good shot of it. We can perfectly see the definition offered by the Panasonic ! We almost regret that there are not two to make a horizontal.
