Author 'Ninik' (Id 155628 ) : Yarrow taken on a rest area in Auvergne in June. The yarrow, grass cuts (Achillea millefolium) is a perennial herb of the Asteraceae family. According to Pliny, Roman naturalist of the first century, its name comes from Achilles, the hero of Greek mythology, who used it to heal his wounds. The flowers are usually white, pink or purple. The florets in the center (flower tube) are yellowish. The flower heads at the tops of stems forming corymbs. Until the nineteenth century it was used to accelerate healing. It is an edible plant which can use the flowers and leaves to tonic, digestive, hemostatic, antispasmodic, emmenagogue, hypotensive, antihémorroïdales.

It is not easy to take the white in the photo but there, you have well managed this shot. It is very clear and thank you for your comments on this plant.
